We all have recipes we love, recipes we share, and recipes we guard with our lives. But what I know to be true is even the best recipes can get old if overdone. At Red Rock Relish we have done a lot of experimenting! We have turned our Jalapeño Relish from a condiment into an ingredient. We have added it to almost anything you can imagine. We have even witnessed a man place a spoonful of our jalapeño relish on a glazed donut. Really?!?!  He said it was amazing!

Here are a few ways we have tried Red Rock Relish as an ingredient. We have found that about 1 Tablespoon per serving is just about right.

  • Thanksgiving Stuffing
  • Egg Salad
  • Tuna Salad
  • Chicken Salad
  • Lasagna
  • Cottage Cheese (Just add and stir)
  • Meat Loaf

A Dream Come True

It’s hard to believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday when my wife brought back some jalapeño relish from her Aunt’s house and it seemed to be gone the next day. It was at this point we decided that we needed more and that we wanted to share the relish with friends and family. Jen started making the relish at home and we started giving to friends and family and even tried out a couple fairs. Fast forward a few month and we are now partnered with Whitney and Shawn, Jen’s cousin and we are off and running with this relish full steam ahead. It’s so exciting to see the videos and images of Shawn and Whitney making the relish and packaging it to sell to the world. We are all very excited to see what others have to say about it. Based on what others say now, we think you will love it too.
